GoRev Edit Tests Guide

-Edit Tests is one of the administrative features of GoRev and requires specific rights in order to be accessed. If you would like this permission added, please contact you facilities system administrator or GoRev IT.

This Guide will help you navigate and use tools on the Edit Tests Screen in GoRev.

Note: If you need assistance with a particular portion of this tutorial, please use the Table of Contents on the left hand side of this screen to navigate to the topic that you require.

1 : Getting Started

First lets navigate to Edit Tests by clicking Lab Modules then click Configuration then selecting Edit Tests.

2 : Sections

The Edit Tests Screen should now be visible. We will start by looking at the Sections on this screen.

1. Lab Test :
The Lab Test Section allows us to make changes to the selected Tests Name, Type, Detection Method, Unit of Measure, and whether it is Always Tested or not.

2. Testing Cutoffs :
The Testing Cutoffs Section allows us to change Testing Detection Settings. We can then click Save to confirm any changes.
Please Note the Effective Date as any changes to Testing Cutoffs will Take Effect on and after this Date.

3. Analyte Categorization :
The Analyte Categorization Section allow us to Confirm a Category. Tests will then show up grouped in the Lab Order Screen.

4. Billing Options :
The Billing Options Section allows us to set the Always Bill Status to either on or off.

5. Test Result Coding :
The Test Result Coding Section allows you to change CPT Code Information for CMS and AMA.
Please Note the Effective Date as any changes to Test Result Coding will Take Effect on and after this Date.

6. Inbound Test Mapping :
The Inbound Test Mapping Section allows us to Pair the ID that you have with your Laboratory Equipment to a GoRev ID.

7. Result Comment :
The Results Comment Section allows us to input any Additional Information or Notes about the selected Test.

8. Save Changes :
When we have finished Editing a Test click Save Changes at the Top of the Edit Tests Screen to Overwrite the selected Test.

9. Save As New Test :
When we have finished Inputting a New Test click Save As New at the Top of the Edit Tests Screen to Create a New Test.
