GoRev Administrative Physician Directory Tutorial

Welcome to the GoRev Administrative Physician Directory Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of utilizing the Physicians module as an Administrator in GoRev.

Note: If you need assistance with a particular portion of this tutorial, please use the Table of Contents on the left hand side of this screen to navigate to the topic that you require.

1 : Navigating to the Physicians Module

As a GoRev Administrator, you will have the ability to add new Physicians, edit existing Physicians, and delete unwanted Physicians using the Physicians module. To begin, click on the “Physicians” button present in the Admin Tab of the GoRev Homepage toolbar.

2 : Adding a New Physician

At this point, the Physician Directory will be visible.

Utilizing the New Button

In order to add a new Physician to GoRev, first, begin by clicking on the New button in this window.

Entering the Physician's Name and NPI

Once the New Physician window becomes visible, please enter the Physician's Name and NPI Number into the corresponding fields provided.

Defining the Physician's Role(S)

Next, please define the Physician’s Role or Roles by clicking on the corresponding checkbox or checkboxes in this window.

Selecting the Physician's Location(s) of Practice

After defining the Physician's Role(s), please select the Physician’s Location or Locations of Practice in the Assign Locations area of this window.

Note: If the Physician you are adding to the system practices at all of the Facilities in your system, please click on the “Select All” checkbox in this area.

Saving the New Physician

Lastly, please click on the “Save New Physician” button in this window to successfully add the Physician to the GoRev System.

Locating the New Physician

At this point, the newly added Physician will be present in the Physician Directory list on your screen.

Note: if you have difficulty locating the newly added Physician, please utilize the Search field in this window to aid in your search.

3 : Utilizing the NPI Database

In the event that you are missing any of the Required Physician Information, such as his/her Name or NPI Number, please use the NPI Database to locate this information.

To begin, click on the “Search NPI Database” link in this window.

Entering the Physician's Information

Once the NPI Search window becomes visible, please enter all of the known Physician Information into the fields provided.

Note: None of the fields in this window are required, but entering all of the information possible will increase your chances of successfully locating the Physician's missing information.

Next, click on the “Search” button in this window.

Selecting the Required Physician

After the NPI Search Results become visible, please select the appropriate Physician from the list.

If you have difficulty locating the Physician that you require, please use the Search field in this window to further narrow your search results.

Utilizing the Selected Physician

Next, click on the “Use Selected Physician” button present in this window.

Utilizing the Newly Located Physician Information

At this point, the selected Physician's information will be present in the New Physician window.

Once you have completed the remaining information in this window and verified its accuracy, please save the information normally by utilizing the Save New Physician button on your screen.

4 : Editing Existing Physicians

Selecting the Required Physician

In order to Edit an existing Physician in GoRev, first, begin by selecting the required Physician from the Your Physicians list in the Physician Directory window.

Note: if you have difficulty locating the required Physician, please utilize the Search field in this window to aid in your search.

Utilizing the Edit Button

After selecting the required Physician, click on the “Edit” button in this window.

Editing the Physician Information

At this point, the Physician Information window will be visible. To continue, please edit any Physician information in this window that you require.

Saving the Edited Information

Once you are finished, click on the “Save Changes” button in this window to save the entered information.

5 : Deleting Unwanted Physicians

Selecting the Required Physician

In order to Delete an existing Physician in GoRev, first, begin by selecting the required Physician from the Your Physicians list in the Physician Directory window.

Note: if you have difficulty locating the required Physician, please utilize the Search field in this window to aid in your search.

Utilizing the Delete Button

After selecting the required Physician, click on the “Delete” button in this window.

Finalizing the Removal Process

Once the Deleting Doctor window becomes visible, please click on the “Yes” button in this window to finalize the Physician removal process.

Note: Please use caution when Deleting Physicians from the GoRev System, as this action cannot be reversed.
