Provider Portal User Manual

This guide is supplemental to the Patient Portal User Manual and will provide details regarding the provider staff's use of portal specific features within GoRev.

Patient Registered within GoRev by Provider

A patient can be registered by provider staff within GoRev by visiting Patient Overview and then clicking on the Register Portal Account button as shown below:

This window will appear, fill out at a minimum patient's email. If patient wishes to be contacted via text you will need to fill out the phone field with a mobile number. Lastly, you will notice a box that says Enroll in e-statements. If you check this box the patient will be enrolled in paperless billing and will receive statements via email or if emails fail via text.

Communicating Electronically with Patients

Configuring Preferred Patient Communication Method

Setting a specific patient's communication preferences can be done via the Contact section in Patient Overview. There are 4 sets of preferences each having an email and text setting. Email always takes precedent so if email and text are both selected patients will receive emails initially and if no response, no view, or no clicks on links within the email occur within a specific threshold a supplemental text will be issued.

Advertising if activated patients will be included in your GoRev initiated advertising campaigns. Useful for things such as announcing a new service line to all patients or announcing the addition of a new physician to the group or a new service location.

Billing if activated patients will be able to communicate over the Billing channel for your location.

Clinical if activated patients will be able to communicate over the Clinical channel for your location

Registration if activated patients will be able to communicate over the Registration channel for your location.

It is important you obtain proper consents from patients before you enable any digital communication preferences.

Sending a message

Communicating with a patient electronically is very simple within GoRev. Simply add a comment to a patient account as you normally would and check the Message Patient box as shown below. You can also attach files to the communication. In order to do this you must first upload the files to the patient's account.

The GoRev Portal Inbox

The Portal Inbox is your central area to see all incoming and outgoing patient messages. It is where your various teams will need to review constantly to ensure timely communications with patients occur. You can access this area by clicking the Portal Inbox button from any tab within GoRev. I've shown it in the billing modules tab below but it also exists in Clinic Modules.

Configuring Portal Settings

There is a new settings tab accessible via going to the Admin tab in GoRev clicking on Configuration and clicking Locations.

The logo you have set as shown below is what will show up on your patient portal. You can change this logo by clicking the magnifying glass and selecting a new logo file. You can download your existing log at anytime by clicking the save button just above the magnifying glass.

The Patient Portal tab will allow you configure various settings impacting what patients see in their “Your Locations / Facilities” section when your provider location shows there.

Location Display Name Entering into this field will override the location name you have saved in GoRev's General tab in Locations. Useful for when you do not want patients seeing your company's actual legal name.

Pre-Registration Link Configured for you by GoRev support. This link is your encrypted direct patient online registration link. You can utilize this link to post to your website.

Scheduling Link Configured for you by GoRev support. This link is your encrypted direct patient online scheduling link. The difference between this and the registration link is this scheduling link will direct patient's to your live GoRev schedule and allow them to self-service by selecting an appointment time within your configured “Public Use” block of time.
