GoRev Report Scheduling Tutorial

Welcome to the GoRev Report Scheduling Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of utilizing the Report Scheduling Module in GoRev.

Note: If you need assistance with a particular portion of this tutorial, please use the Table of Contents on the left hand side of this screen to navigate to the topic that you require.

1 : Navigating to the Report Scheduling Module

As a GoRev User, the Report Scheduling Module will allow you to send Reports on a customized, weekly schedule. In order to navigate to the Report Scheduling Module, first, begin by clicking on the Reports button in the GoRev Homepage Toolbar.

After the Reports and Workflows window appears on your screen, please click on the Scheduled Reports button in the Reports and Workflows Toolbar.

At this point, the Report Scheduler window will be visible. As a GoRev user, you will have the ability to Create New Report Schedules, Edit Existing Report Schedules, and Delete Unwanted Report Schedules in the GoRev Report Scheduling Module.

2 : Creating a New Report Schedule

Starting the Report Schedule Creation Process

In order to create a New Report Schedule, first, begin by clicking on the “New” button in the Report Scheduler window.

Searching For the Required Report

Once the New Report Schedule window becomes visible, please search for the Report that you require using the Search Field in this window.

Selecting Report Schedule Days

After entering this information, please begin creating your customized, weekly schedule by clicking on the Day or Days that you require from the list present on your screen.

Note: If you would like to send the Report on a daily basis, please click on the “Everyday” checkbox in this window.

Selecting Report Schedule Time

Next, please select a Time for the Report to be sent using the corresponding field provided.

Designating the Receiver of the Report

After selecting the Time that you require, please utilize the “Schedule for User” field in this window to search for and select the User who will receive the Scheduled Report.

Finalizing Report Schedule Creation

Now, in order to finalize the creation of the New Report Schedule, please click on the “Save Schedule” button present on your screen.

3 : Editing an Existing Report Schedule

Selecting an Existing Report Schedule to Edit

In addition to creating New Report Schedules, as a GoRev user, you, also, have the ability to edit Existing Report Schedules in this module. To begin, please select the Report Schedule that you require from the Your Scheduled Reports list in the Report Scheduler window.

Utilizing the 'Edit' Button

Next, click on the “Edit” button present in this window.

At this point, the “Edit Schedule” window will appear on your device. To continue, please Edit any of the information in this window that you require.

Saving and Locating the Edited Report Schedule

Once you are satisfied with the edited information, click on the “Save Schedule” button on your screen to finalize the Report Scheduling editing process.

At this point, the Edited Report Schedule will be present in the Your Scheduled Reports area of the Report Scheduler window.

4 : Note: Sending Reports Immediately

Selecting the Required Report

Note: In the event that you would like to send the Report to the user immediately, first, begin by selecting the required Report from the list present on your device.

Utilizing the Send Now Button

Next, click on the “Send Now” button in this window.

Finalizing the Send Now Process

Lastly, once the “Sending Report” window becomes visible, please click Yes to finalize the Send Now process.

5: Receiving an Email with Access to the Report

Once the Scheduled Time for the Report to be sent has been reached, the Recipient will receive an email from No Reply at the email address currently on file in GoRev for that User.

6: Creating your Email Attachment Password

In order to successfully access the Scheduled Report, you must first create your Email Attachment Password. First, begin by selecting your Username in the top right corner of your GoRev window.

At this point, the User drop-down should be present on your device. Now, click on Profile Options from the provided drop-down menu.

Entering your Email Attachment Password

Once the User Settings window appears, please enter your Email Attachment Password. This password is required in order to successfully open your scheduled report.

Finalizing the Email Attachment Password Process

In order to finalize the creation of your Email Attachment Password, please click Save Profile to save the newly entered password.

7: Utilizing the No Reply Email

Beginning the Report Retrieval Process

After receiving an email from No Reply, please begin the Report Retrieval process by clicking on the “Attached File”.

Opening the Report Attachment

At this point, an Attachment Drop-down will appear on your screen. To continue, please click Open to open the attached report file.

Launching the Report File

Once the Compressed Report File becomes visible, double click on the provided report file.

Entering your Email Attachment Password

Now, please enter your Email Attachment Password into the Password Needed window and click Ok.

Opening the Scheduled Report

At this point, the View Download window should be present on your screen. To continue, click on the Open button in order to successfully open the Scheduled Report.

Note: You will have the ability to Save the report by utilizing the Save button provided.

8: Deleting an Unwanted Report Schedule

In addition to editing Existing Report Schedules, as a GoRev user, you, also, have the ability to delete Unwanted Report Schedules. To begin, please select the required Report Schedule from the Your Scheduled Reports list in the Report Scheduler window.

Utilizing the Delete Button

Next, click on the “Delete” button in this window.

Finalizing the Deletion Process

At this point, the “Deleting Schedule” window will appear on your device. In order to finish deleting the selected Report Schedule, click Yes.
